Lab 0 · Environment & Access

Get logged in to both consoles and confirm your lab is populated.

0.1 Get your AWS account

  1. Open the self-service login (link at the top of every page).
  2. Enter your workshop code + email; you'll be assigned an account and given a one-click console link.
  3. Confirm the role is DacWorkshopAttendee and region us-east-1.
One-click, fresh each time
The portal mints a fresh federated console link when you click — no 15-minute expiry to worry about.

0.2 Sign in to DAC

  1. Open your DAC tenant URL and sign in.
  2. Confirm Configuration → Connected Services → AWS shows one connected account (green).

0.3 Confirm it's populated

  • Dashboards → IaaS: KRIs non-zero.
  • Data Stores: S3 buckets + RDS with sensitive tables.
  • Investigation → Activities: recent AWS activity present.
